Robert Widom brings over two decades of leadership and hands-on experience to his role as Vice President of Operations at The Avens Group. A career firefighter with 26 years of service, Robert is deeply rooted in public safety and operational discipline—values that continue to guide his work today. He now oversees the full-service management of VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinics across the country, ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standards for the Veterans who rely on them.

Robert’s background in emergency services informs his proactive approach to facility management, prioritizing safety, responsiveness, and efficiency. His unique blend of fire service expertise and operational leadership allows him to bridge the gap between infrastructure and mission—creating spaces that support healing, honor, and respect.

Bennett Boothe is a dedicated Project Manager at The Avens Group, bringing four years of experience in commercial development and construction management with a specialized focus on federal and VA healthcare projects. Known for his hands-on leadership and results-driven approach, Bennett oversees complex project lifecycles — from initial planning through final delivery — ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency every step of the way.

His expertise lies in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing government contract requirements, and navigating the unique demands of building infrastructure that serves veterans and federal agencies. Bennett is passionate about delivering environments that make a lasting impact, and he takes pride in upholding The Avens Group’s mission to serve with purpose, precision, and integrity.

Todd joined The Avens Group in April 2025 after retiring as a Captain with Arvada Fire, concluding a 31-year career in the fire service. Throughout his tenure, Todd demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership, operations, and public safety. He also served on the department’s construction committee, playing a key role in the planning and development of four new fire stations—experience that now brings tremendous value to his work in project management.

At The Avens Group, Todd partners with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to help deliver high-quality healthcare facilities that serve our nation’s Veterans. He approaches each project with the same values that defined his fire service career: accountability, excellence, and a strong focus on community.

Maureen brings over three decades of experience in commercial furniture, healthcare design, and project management. She began her career at GranTree Furniture, where she moved from payroll manager to sales to showroom manager, gaining hands-on expertise in commercial interiors and space planning.

After launching and running her own furniture and design business, Maureen joined Providence Health Systems as a project manager, overseeing interior design, space planning, move coordination, and furniture procurement for multiple clinics, hospitals and administrative buildings.
After leaving Providence, she became a partner in a service-disabled veteran-owned business. Among her most notable projects: the design and outfitting of a 220,000 sq. ft. Mental Health facility at the Seattle VA Medical Center.

Since 2019, Maureen has been a key leader at The Avens Group, where she specializes in healthcare interior design and manages the firm’s office furniture division. Her passion lies in creating functional, healing spaces that enhance the patient and provider experience.

Debbie is a commercial furniture sales professional with over 20 years of experience. As Vice President of Business Development for The Avens Group’s Furniture Division, she focuses on growing business and building strong client relationships across the healthcare, commercial, higher education, and government sectors—both in the Pacific Northwest and across the country.

Debbie is committed to helping clients find the right furniture solutions through creative thinking and practical problem solving. She values strong partnerships and works hard to support each client’s goals with responsive service and reliable results.

Ryan Pettus serves as Vice President of Dental Operations, providing strategic oversight and operational leadership for federally contracted dental programs supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). With more than ten years of experience in the dental industry, Ryan brings specialized expertise in dental equipment and supply procurement, clinic readiness, compliance, and performance execution within highly regulated, mission-critical healthcare environments.

A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, Ryan served eight years as a diesel mechanic, where he gained extensive experience in logistics coordination, maintenance operations, and mission-essential support functions. His military background continues to inform his leadership approach, emphasizing accountability, operational discipline, and strict adherence to federal requirements.

Ryan is committed to ensuring continuity of care and operational excellence across DoD and VA dental clinics by delivering compliant, reliable, and efficient dental solutions that directly support clinical staff and veteran and service member patient outcomes.

Camo serves as the Director of Human Resources at The Avens Group, where he specializes in team morale, workplace culture, and ensuring everyone feels pawsitively supported. With an unmatched ability to sense stress, Camo is known for conducting impromptu wellness checks, greeting team members with enthusiasm, and reminding leadership when it’s time for a break.

As Director of HR, Camo oversees employee engagement initiatives, nap-time enforcement, and office security, while maintaining an open-door (and open-lap) policy. His leadership style is rooted in loyalty, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to a happy, productive workplace — proving that sometimes the best HR solutions come with four legs and a wagging tail.
